'Black X' of 2./KG 51, surrendered at Fassberg in May 1945, and then transfered to UK via Melsbroek. Some interresting replaced panels left in RLM02, and lower sufaces left in bare metal with red lead minium to fill the joints. The svastika on the tail was painted in black by the UK crew. They then replaced the black X by the UK national insignas. The kit is the Trumpeter at 1/32 scale, with Eduard interior (coloured) and exterior photo-etched sets.
