F 104 G at 1/32; buil by Jean Claude JANSSENS.

This Hasegawa model at 1/32 needs lot of work....Jean begin with the rescribing of all the surface and then added the KMC cockpit, which is a big improvememnt at that model ! He also opened the parachute hatch. As he want to show the " zipper" in his fighter version, he has to add the Sidewinders rail on the wings, and as the bird was see most ofthe time with his fuel tanks under the wings....he has to modify the model parts so he could place them under the wings !On the wings, the slats/flaps were slightly lowered. Paint job was with the use of Testor Metalizer and white over the wings. decals are from DACO. The model is not yet complete in fact, as Jean is still trying to find the " winders".....question of days....! Tha's a great model, a bird which took a big part in our military planes history....great job Jean !
