1/32th scale,Hasegawa's Spitfire Mk Vb converted to a Mk XIV early with the (late)Paragon Kit.The kit was integrally regrooved to get recessed panel lines everywhere.The kit's wings were of early"C"type and had to be converted to late type with belt instead of drum cannon feading,deplacement of one of the.303 Vickers outside and short-type ailerons,not to talk about the totally different radiators.Cockpit is a mix of kit parts,Eduard photo-etched and scratch.Worth of noting that this 30 years old kit has remarkably correct dimensions,not the case of a lot of new tooling products!
Echelle 1/32.Le Spitfire MkVb Hasegawa transformé en Mk XIV de début de production à l'aide du kit de la défunte marque Paragon.La gravure a été entièrement refaite afin d'obtenir un effet uniforme"en creux".Les ailes du kit étaient du type"C"de début de production et ont été transformées en"C" de fin de production,le canon n'étant plus alimenté par tambour mais par bande et la mitrailleuse .303 Vickers intérieure étant déplacée vers l'extérieur,sans parler des radiateurs,entièrement différents.Le cockpit est un mélange de pièces d'origine,de photo-découpe Eduard et de scratch.A noter que cette maquette âgée de 30 ans est de formes et de dimensions très correctes,ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas de nouveaux produits débarquant sur le marché.
