F 18 A HORNET
Model is the Academy at 1/32, build by Patrick SPITAELS.
Ok, here are the first steps of the building, my Hornet will became a Adversary one, wearing the splinter camo based on brown/green camo...SO, as usually i begin with the cockpit ! As the detail are a bit " light" in the box i decide to rebuild parts of it....rebuilding knobs and else with plasticard..rebuilding the control stick....the seat is an old Tac Scale one...fitting without problems . The instrument panel is really a great piece, hopefully for me Academy provided the 2 versions ( A / C ).Paint is from testor. On the whell well, no details added...just a good paint and it's done !. I forget to take a pic of the refuiling bay, the only detail i've added..that's for the next time !
